"Magnet Balls", that's the name of the new single of the young indie-folk band "Augustin" based in Bavaria/Germany, and at the same time the title track of the new movie "303" by director Hans Weingartner.
The film is about Jan and Jule, two students in their early 20s, who come closer together on a coincidentally shared motorhome trip through Europe. In heated discussions about God and the world, they discover similarities and collide with opposites, come closer and repel each other ... like magnets.
The film had its acclaimed debut at the Berlinale in 2018 and was celebrated by critics and audiences alike. On July 19th it started in German cinemas.
Augustin's frontman Michael Regner composed the filmmusic for the road movie and contributed three songs to the soundtrack, which also includes songs by artists like "Mighty Oaks" and Ani DiFranco.
Together with guest singer Jana Iris and his band Augustin, he produced the songs and released them - along with 9 other new titles - on the new album "Colors".
This appeared one day after the theatrical release, on 20 July 2018 at the Berlin Label "Motor Entertainment".
The new album has been received enthusiastically by critics and listeners and is paving the way for another step towards the general public.
The first single release "Magnet Balls" was broadcasted by radio stations throughout Germany and Switzerland, including Bayern 3, Bayern 2, Deutschlandfunk, SWR3, HR1, RBB Radio 1, SR1, Radio Swiss Pop and many more.
In autumn and winter 2018/19 Augustin start their tour through Germany. If you are interested in a tourstop in your location, feel free to contact the booking contact below!
